What is the ideal length for a leash?

Unfortunately, there is no general answer to this question. The ideal length of a leash depends directly on how it is used. The range extends from short lead leashes to tow leashes that are between 7 and 10 meters long.
Our leash "Charlie" has a length of approx. 2.5m and can be easily placed over the upper body so that you can lead the dog "hands-free".

What material should a leash be made of?

There is no general answer here either. Leashes are available in various materials. Leather, biothane and rope are certainly among the most popular materials.

How wide should a leash be?

The width of a leash should be chosen so that it fits comfortably in your hand and has a good grip. The choice of shape should also depend on this.
